Situation

Attempting to add a fingerprint reader as an authenticator.
Multiple scans on same finger results in a message "PoorQuality" or poor quality.
The option to save is not active.

Resolution

The finger needs to be re-positioned between each scan by lifting and replacing it on the scan pad.
