Install hangs on novell-xtier-base, and regutil command shows high CPU utilizaiton

Environment

Open Enterprise Server 2015 (OES 2015) Linux Support Pack 1

Situation

Install hangs on novell-xtier-base, and regutil command shows high CPU utilizaiton

Resolution

If the disk has a physical sector size of 4096 bytes, try changing it to 512 bytes.  "lsblk -o NAME,PHY-SEC" will show the physical sector size.

Additional Information

Killing the regutil command will allow the install to complete, but novell-xregd will not start.  /var/log/messages shows this error:
