Access Manager Single Sign-on Assistant version 3.0.0.0 failing to save passwords or single sign on from Firefox

Access Manager 4.3 setup using single sign on assistant to single sign on to Appmarks on the IDP portal page. EVerything was working fine in that users could save passwords on sites they were visiting for the first time, and replay the credentials on subsequent accesses. After upgrading to Single Sign On assistant 3.0.0.0, reports came in that a small percentage of users with Firefox were reporting issues where they could no longer SSO. Users on IE and Chrome all worked fine. It seems that the Firefox extension stopped working.

When in this state, it still outputs occasional messages to the Web Console but does not prompt to save any credentials for configured sites, or automatically fill in and submit credentials for configured sites.

Reported to engineering. For the moment, have the user create a new browser profile for Firefox and install the extension fresh, to make it work again, or use IE or Chrome.
