Adding recurrence to personal appointment does not add additional appointments to calendar

Changing a personal appointment to an appointment and adding recurrence does not save the recurring appointments.

Steps to Duplicate:

1.  Create a personal appointment.
2.  Change personal appointment to appointment.
3.  Add recipients.
4.  Add recurrence of appointment.
5.  Send.
6.  Only the appointment for the originally scheduled date and time is in the calendar.
7.  Observe that no additional (recurring) appointments are created.
