System Requirements

This hotfix requires NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator 9.0.3.

Installing This Version

To install this hotfix, do the following:

1. Close all DRA consoles.

2. On each Administration server and DRA client computer, right-click the

DRA_9_0_3_Hotfix4.msp file and run the file as Administrator.

Installation Considerations

The following considerations apply when you install this version:

 DRA no longer requires installation of Exchange Server management tools on the Administration

server computer. To remotely manage an Exchange Server 2010 or 2013 server, DRA now

requires only Powershell 2.0 and Windows Remote Management (WinRM) 2.0 to be installed on

the Administration server.

Addressed Customer Issues

This release includes the following stabilizing fixes:

 Resolved an issue that prevented DRA from seeing users that are known to exist in the Active

Directory. (ENG345169)

 Resolved an issue where the DRA Office 365 license job would update a license even though no

changes had been made to the license. (ENG345117)

Uninstalling This Hotfix

Complete the following steps to uninstall this hotfix.

To uninstall this hotfix:

1. Log on to the target computer with a local administrator account.

2. Open the Windows Control Panel window and start the Programs and Features program.

3. Select View installed updates from the left panel and locate the hotfix.

4. Select the hotfix and click Uninstall from the toolbar.

NOTE: If DRA was installed with a custom ADAM port, DRA will no longer function after uninstalling

this hotfix. To resolve this issue, shut down the ADAM instance, change its port value in the registry,

and then restart the ADAM instance.
