System Requirements

This hotfix requires NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator 9.0.2.

Installing This Version

To install this hotfix, close all DRA consoles and run the DRA_9_0_2_Hotfix1.exe file on each Administration server and DRA client computer.

For more information about version 9.0.2, see the Release Notes. For detailed information about installing Directory and Resource Administrator and Exchange Administrator components and modules, see the NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator and Exchange Administrator Installation Guide.

Installation Considerations

The following considerations apply when you install this version:

DRA no longer requires installation of Exchange Server management tools on the Administration server computer. To remotely manage an Exchange Server 2010 or 2013 server, DRA now requires only Powershell 2.0 and Windows Remote Management (WinRM) 2.0 to be installed on the Administration server.

This release includes the following stabilizing fixes:

Resolved an issue in which DRA renamed users even when the domain’s Automatic user name configuration policy was not set. (ENG342436)

Resolved an issue in which the Automatic naming policy was applied when a user’s property page was opened even if no changes had been made to the user’s name. (ENG342998)

Resolved an issue that slowed DRA’s performance during object searches. (ENG342777)

Resolved an issue in which multiple domains using an LPA account did not receive the proper permissions. (ENG343027)
