Situation

While using the T-Mobile cell network, mobile users get the following error when attempting to log into Messenger: Novell Messenger, The client is unable to connect to the server due to a network error.

Using the same mobile device on a WiFi network will connect to the Messenger server just fine.

Resolution

Currently this is an issue with the T-Mobile carrier only. Contact T-Mobile for additional assistance.
