Entry type changes if item is copied from one folder to another

Situation

If an entry is copied from one folder to another, it's 'Entry Type' changes to the default entry type of the destination folder. Entry types of the comments of an entry will also change to the entry type of the parent entry in the destination folder. As an example, if you have a blog entry (Entry Type: Blog) in a blog folder with three comments (Entry Type: Comments), and you copy this blog entry to another blog folder, the blog entry and all three comments will become blogs (Entry Type: Blog) in the destination folder.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available for Vibe 4.0.3 - Patch 1 Please contact Micro Focus Customer Care with reference to this TID for further assistance.
