Accept incoming connections from filr.app prompt appears randomly for Mac users

When using the Filr Desktop client on macOS with the Firewall enabled, users randomly see an Allow / Deny dialog for 'Do you want the application Filr.app to accept incoming connections?' When looking through the Firewall settings, the 'com.novell.Novell-Filr' is set to 'Allow incoming connections'.

A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 3.3 Update. With the fix in place, the Filr UI application will be signed which will no longer trigger the allow / deny dialog from the Firewall.

As per macOS documentation, some apps check their own integrity when they are opened without using code signing. If the Firewall recognizes such an app it doesn't sign it. Instead, the "Allow or Deny" dialog appears every time the app is opened. This can be avoided by upgrading to a version of the app that is signed by its developer.
