Situation
Filr generates email notifications using Apache Velocity version 1.5 templates. You can customize these templates using the steps in the Filr documentation: Notification (Email) Customization. However, one of the templates (externalConfirmation.vm) that is used to generate the 2nd email notification to an external user after he/she has self-registered is not customizable via the Filr administrative interface.
Resolution
A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 3.2.1 Update.
