Situation

While clicking on a message in a digest you are redirected to the following error message: This is due to the incorrect digest template being used by QMS2.

Resolution

1) The most common reason for this error is that the message is no longer located in QMS.  This will occur if the message has been deleted (due to deletion upon release, or user/admin deletion).

2) QMS 2 uses a different template from previous versions of QMS. You will need to manually change it in the Digest/settings from 'digest_master.xml' to  'digest2_master.xml' as shown in the screen shots below.

Previous versions of QMS used  digest_master.xml:

QMS2 needs to be set to use digest2_master.xml as shown:

After this has been done, another digest will need to be sent out by QMS. This is due to the fact that digests are all hard coded with the template when they are created.  Whether you wait until a scheduled release, or manually release digests, the result will be the same.

If you are getting this error while you are using the correct template (digest2_master.xml) please contact support at 1-801-437-5678
