Environment

Reload (all versions)

Situation

How can I modify my firewall in Linux to allow access to the Reload web interface?

Resolution

If you are using the default firewall that comes with SLES, then modifying it to allow access to the Reload web interface can easily be done through YaST. When you pull up YaST, go to Security and Users | Firewall. When it loads the Firewall configuration, select Allowed Services | Advanced. You can now add port 5555 to the allowed ports.
