Situation

The Retain Server is using Oracle for it's database.

How to provide connectivity to an Oracle Server on the SUSE Server running the Reload for Retain Agent

NOTE: The Reload for Retain Agent either runs on the Retain Server it is on SUSE Linux, or the Reload for Retain Agent runs on the Reload Server if the Retain Server is on Windows.

Resolution

Install the Oracle Instant Client Software

Install the Oracle Instant Client - Basic Client ( oracle-instantclient12.1-basic-12.1.0.2.0-1.x86_64.rpm )
Install the Oracle Instant Client - SQLPlus Client ( oracle-instantclient12.1-sqlplus-12.1.0.2.0-1.x86_64.rpm )

Install Oracle Instant Client Software Packages
