Forward multiple messages as a single email from Retain

Situation

By default Retain will forward out multiple messages in one e-mail containing multiple attachments for each message. How do you forward multiple messages out and have them show up as a single e-mail?

Resolution

The following steps will allow you to forward multiple messages at once and have them show up as single/individual e-mails.

1) Shut down Tomcat.

2) Edit misc.properties.

Linux: /opt/beginfinite/retain/RetainServer/WEB-INF/classes/config/

Windows: [drive]:\Program Files\Retain\RetainServer\WEB-INF\classes\config

3) Change the line forward.single=0 to forward.single=1

4) Save the file.

5) Start Tomcat.
