Retain 3.x, 4.x

The Retain server logs show it is running out of memory, how do I fix that?

The tomcat memory needs to be tuned.

This can be done in the Configure Tomcat program, a shortcut for which should be on the desktop or somewhere in Start.

In Retain 4.x with two workers and on-board MySQL, on a Windows server with 16GB of RAM we suggest:

  • Initial memory pool: 8192 MB
  • Maximum memory pool: 8192 MB
  • Thread stack size: 256 KB
