Cannot connect to GroupWise system because the GroupWise client is in Remote-mode or Caching-mode

Reveal (Any build)

Situation

After clicking 'Connect to GW system' the following error is displayed and Reveal closes.

Resolution


1) Log out of the GroupWise client or log in to the GroupWise client using live mode
Reveal requires the use of some of the GroupWise client files. If you are using caching mode or remote mode Reveal can't use the API's necessary to operate.

Either exit out of your GroupWise client until you have finished using Reveal or use the GroupWise client in live mode. For instructions on how to put the GroupWise Client in live mode please refer to the Windows GroupWise Client guide.
