GWAVA 4 on NetWare Build 117+
Situation
After update to Build 117 a new screen 'GWVSMTP' is loading. What is this screen for?
Resolution
The new screen for GWVSMTP is only required when running an SMTP scanner. When you updated to build 117 that scanner type is now available and so it gets loaded along with the rest of GWAVA. For more information about the SMTP scanner please refer to http://www.gwava.com/products/gwava-4/gwava-4-smtp-beta.html.
This screen will mainly lie dormant until an SMTP scanner is installed.
If you are not planning on using this type of scanner you can comment out the following line using a ; in the gwavaup.ncf:
LOAD address space=GWAVA4 vol1:/gwava4/assets/bin/gwvsmtp /ConsoleLog
