Environment

GWAVA 4+
Linux

Situation

After running the set_net.sh script ctasd.bin still fails to load

Resolution

The /etc/hosts file may have an incorrect entry.  Follow these steps to make sure that the /etc/hosts file is setup correctly:

1) Login to the Linux machine via SSH

2) Browse to /etc

3) Run the command "cat hosts".  The result should look like the following:

4) If the result is different, modify the file to look similar to the image above:
127.0.0.1           locahost
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx     HOSTNAME.domain     HOSTNAME

(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP Address of the GWAVA server)
