Using SMTP Scanner

I've just set up GWAVA as a SMTP scanner against my Exchange server and incoming email is being rejected for the following: '530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated'.
If inbound email is being rejected because of '530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated', this rejection is from a permissions setting on the Exchange server.
1) Open Exchange System Manager or Exchange Management Console and select Hub Transport under the Server Configuration section.Inbound email should now be received without the not authenticated response.
4) Click Apply to save the changes.
5) Stop (disable) and start (enable) the connector.
