QMS showing it is 'Closed for Maintenance'

Situation

When trying to login to QMS you see a message that QMS is closed for maintenance.  Each night QMS does maintenance work.  The maintenance tasks that take place each night are dependent upon your QMS version.  They can include the following: vacuum, reindex, backups of the database files. This can take time depending on how large your QMS database is and how busy your server is at the time.

Resolution


Decrease the amount of days you are quarantining (recommendation is 7 days).  To change this, login to your QMS as admin, go to the 'globals' then 'pruning' tabs.



Also, we recommend never quarantining SURBL blocks because there is hardly ever a false positive.  To do this enable the 4 state checkboxes.
