Situation
The purpose of this document is to provide step-by-step instructions for enabling MultiFire on Redline Alerts.
Resolution
By enabling this feature, an alert using Multifire will send out an alert notification (Email, Broadcast, SNMP, API) each interval period until the alert is solved. We will begin by configuring the MultiFire interval. The MultiFire interval is set at the Control Center on the Configure | Analyzer page and is defined in minutes. This is a global setting that applies to all MultiFire settings. Each alert that has MultiFire enabled will use this interval to determine when the next notification is to be sent.
To enable Multifire on an alert, open the properties of any alert from Configure | Thresholds/Recommendations.Alternatively, this can be done using the configure
alert icon on the Alerts page.
