User authentication fails using LDAP attribute mail when fronted by Access Manager

Situation

When configuring Filr with Access Manager, and using the Identity Injection policy to use LDAP Attribute: Mail so that users can sign in using their email address, the authentication fails. When using the LDAP Credentials: LDAP User Name, the integration works and users are able to authenticate.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 3.2 Update. With the fix in place, users are able to authenticate with their email address when using the Identity Injection policy to use LDAP Attribute: Mail.
