How the Date of a Backup is Determined

Environment

Reload (all builds)

Situation

How is the date of a backup determined? Why does my most recent backup have an old date?

Resolution

The date which a backup is named after, will not necessarily be the date which a backup was done by Reload. The date reflects the age of the oldest timestamp within the backup. So, if backups were suspended for a few days, then the next backup that is done will not be named after the current date, but will instead be named after the oldest item backed up. This is why a backup can be named after an old date.
