Environment

Reload (all versions)

Situation

How can I stop a Reload backup job and stop any other queued jobs from running?

Resolution

The best way to stop a current backup job and any queued backup jobs is through the Reload terminal menu. Enter the menu and go to Start/Stop Jobs.

First, you will want to cancel any queued jobs that Reload is set to perform after the current one completes. To do this, select Clear All Queued Backup Jobs. Reload will prompt you for confirmation of that action, so select Yes. Now there will only be the currently running job.

Select the option to Stop the Currently Running Backup Job. Confirm that you want to cancel the current running job.

The most common situations where you’ll want to stop jobs from running include: shutting down the server or restarting it, when deleting a profile, or when a support tech requests you to do so.
