What is the purpose of the profile monitor?
Resolution
The purpose of the profile monitor is to keep tabs on each of your profiles and alert you to any problems with them. If one of your profiles enters an error state, then the monitor will reflect that and show what is wrong with the profile. The profile monitor can be reached through the terminal administration menu. Select Profile Monitor from the main menu to see the current status of all your profiles. Post office profiles and domain profiles are grouped together. There are three critical areas that the monitor checks for each of the profiles. First, it confirms whether the profile has been correctly enabled. Second, it checks when the last successful backup was done for that profile. Lastly, it monitors the current disk space percentage. If you notice a problem with any of your profiles, then the profile monitor is a good place to start to find out what is wrong.
