Environment
Migration Toolkit Exchange 2010
Situation
Unable to import distribution lists into Exchange Getting errors as shown below in the Log Contents section
Resolution
In this situation, the customer tried to create a distribution list manually in Exchange, and they could not do so, they were getting similar errors to the Migration Toolkit. The customer had implemented the Microsoft Scripting Agent for Exchange. See more about this software here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/Dd297951(v=EXCHG.141).aspx As soon as the customer brought down the Microsoft Scripting Agent for Exchange, the problem went away, and they could create distribution lists in Exchange manually and through the Migration Toolkit.
