Situation
There is a error while running a GroupWise job about invalid characters. I want to try and process one message at a time to try and find the problem message. Can Retain do this?
Resolution
By default, Retain will request 50 messages at a time from a mail server. This can be changed by adjusting the cursor size. The cursor size is set in the following file:
Linux: /opt/beginfinite/retain/RetainWorker/WEB-INF/classes/attachment.properties Windows: <Install Location>/RetainWorker/WEB-INF/classes/attachment.properties
Edit the file and look for the line:
attachment.cursor.size=50
Change the 50 to 1. This will make Retain request a single message at a time from the email server. Restart Retain.
