Customer was exporting messages to PDF from his mailbox but the message body was blank in almost all messages. In the message header under the "Attachments" field, it would list the subject of the message as the name of the "attachment" followed by "(excluded from export)". After further investigation, we discovered that message bodies of text-formatted messages were displaying but not for any HTML-formatted messages.
When performing the export, an Export Messages dialog is displayed. On the Attachments tab, the "Include attachments with extension" field had an asterisk ("*") in it. After removing the asterisk and leaving the field completely blank (see the screenshot below), the message body was included with each message.
NOTE: For HTML-formatted messages, the message body will display on the second page of the PDF with the first page being blank.
