Situation

Resolution
This issue is resolved in Retain 4.0.3.
In Retain 4.x you have the option of removing messages from mailboxes as the mailbox is archived. This is enabled in the Profile under Core Settings/"Delete archived messages from messaging system "
If this is not also enabled along with "Delete archived items from journal" in Job/Journaling then mail will be left in the journal mailbox.
