Environment

GWAVA 4, 4.5 Running on Linux or NW

Situation

If the GW user, specified to be used for the Spam/Ham feeder services, password has changed, how can I update it in GWAVA?

Resolution

There is not a way to edit the password for the GW user, that you are using for the Spam/Ham feeder services. You will need to re-add these feeders, providing the new password.
1) Under Server/Scanner Management | Server | Manage Scanners | Scanner | Scanning configuration | Antispam | Heuristics, add the feeders again. Make sure to give it the new password.
2) Remove the old feeders (the ones with the old password).
3) Hit 'save changes' at the top.

Note: Refresh the page (there is a refresh icon on the top right) and make sure you only have the two new ones in place. Sometimes the old ones aren't removed, and need to be deleted a second time.
