GWAVA 4.5 Using an SMTP Scanner Running on Linux or NW
Situation
Incoming messages are being seen by GWAVA as an outgoing message. Outgoing signatures show up on the incoming email.
Resolution
If the sending server's IP address is in the 'Trusted outbound relay servers' list then GWAVA will see the incoming message as an outbound message.
This list is located under Configure SMTP settings/mail interface settings. Check to make sure there isn't an address that would affect all addresses such as *.* or if the mail is being relayed from a certain IP address before it is sent to GWAVA, make sure that IP address isn't in this list.
