Situation
Is Reveal able to search through messages on a GroupWise Post Office which has been restored from a backup?
Resolution
Reveal is designed to connect to a live Post Office, and unless the Post Office is a live, functional, and running Post Office, Reveal will not be able to search it.
It is possible to make the restored Post Office searchable through Reveal. The idea behind this concept is to create a "dummy" Post Office Agent or POA, for the restored Post Office, and then connect to it with Reveal.
Note: The steps to do this may require the help of a GroupWise expert, if you don't feel comfortable setting up a dummy POA on your own, then it is advise to contact GroupWise support for more help.
