Situation
When performing an online update it doesn't update and it gives an error: Failed to Retrieve Version Information [12][2] JAN-21 11:45:55 Checking for updates to the updater from server: http://gwava4updates.gwava.com [12][1] JAN-21 11:45:58 Failed to retrieve version information: Resource does not exist [12][2] JAN-21 11:45:58 Update procedures finished
Resolution
This is mainly caused by a proxy server or a firewall not allowing the GWAVA 4 to retrieve any signal or information from the update server.
1) Enter in the proxy information if applicable within the online update page inside the GWAVA Management Console (<IP>:49282).
2) Ensure that the server is allowed inbound/outbound port 80 traffic through the firewall.
3) Resubmit the Online Update request
