Situation
What regular user maintenance does GWAVA require?
Resolution
GWAVA performs nightly maintenance routines at midnight and 2:00am. Aside from these tasks, no regular GWAVA maintenance should be necessary.
Long time GWAVA customers know that temp files may gather over time in certain temp or work directories within the GWAVA directory structure. This is normal behavior. Unless the number of temp files is extremely excessive, there shouldn't be an issue. Most temporary files are cleaned up automatically when GWAVA is restarted. Some customers may be tempted to clear out these temp files on occasion, but we recommend consulting a GWAVA Support Technician before deleting any files.
