Cannot Access QMS After a Restart of GWAVA

GWAVA 4, 4.5 Running on Linux or NW


After restarting GWAVA I am unable to access the QMS. I am getting 'page cannot be displayed'.


If GWAVA see's that the QMS was not shutdown properly it will run a re-index to ensure the database files are ok. The QMS will not be accessible while this is running. You can look in your QMS log to see if this is the case. The logs are located in .../services/logs/gwavaqms/support. If the last line states something similar to: ' System was not shut down properly, indexes will be rebuilt to ensure database integrity', then you will need to wait until this has finished before you can access the QMS.

Note: The time it takes to re-index depends on how large the QMS database is, and how fast the server is.
