Situation
Why doesn't my Friday backup have any of the email from the Friday business day?
Resolution
The default schedule for a Standard backup is Sunday through Friday, each day running at 1:00a.
A good alternative would be to configure the schedule on Monday through Friday some time after regular business hours, like 11:59 pm. The Portable backup can be left the same because the job will just be queued up if the backup hasn't completed yet.
* If Reload is up to date, when a new profile is created, the default time for a daily backup has been changed to 8:00p
