Unable to Log In to Retain Statistics Server

Situation

The customer successfully configured the statistics server but cannot log into it to see the graphs and statistics.  Even after creating a new bootstrap file, stopping tomcat, deleting the StatsConfiguration.cfg, starting tomcat, and uploading the new bootstrap, the issue would occur.  The browser cache was deleted as well but to no avail.

Resolution

In looking at the RetainStatsServer log, the connection was successful when logging in but was immediately timing out. 

To resolve the issue, the customer toggled the timeout value in the RetainServer by changing the timeout to a new value, saving it, and setting it back to the default value.
