Removing the Reporting & Monitoring Server

Situation

I want to remove the Reporting & Monitoring Server or disable it from running. What are the steps to doing this?

Resolution

1. Stop tomcat.

2. To remove, delete the following directories and/or files. To disable, simply rename them.

.../RetainStatsServer directory
RetainServer/WEB-INF/cfg/StatsConfiguration.cfg
.../tomcat7/conf/Catalina/localhost/RetainStatsServer.xml

3. Restart tomcat.

NOTE: The aforementioned directories are found on Linux systems under /opt/beginfinite/retain. For Windows systems, they are found under [drive]:\Program Files\Beginfinite\Retain and [drive]:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation.
