Situation
When I try migrating resources I get an error about the resource not having an owner.
Error: Owner User object not found for user [username]
Resolution
When migrating GroupWise resources to Exchange resources you will need to connect the resource such as a conference room or projector with an owner or delegate.
In GroupWise resources have owners that take the calls and emails for use of the resource.
In Exchange resources have delegates that do the same thing and you link with their GUID.
It is wise to test this first using only the owners and the resources.
First you need to migrate the owning user into AD and Exchange, using User Migrator.
Then you can use Directory Users Matching to populate the destinationGUID (column AA) of the owners in the .csv.
Then you can copy that GUID to the resourceOwner (column AF) location for the resource.
Now it will migrate correctly.
