Situation
I have GroupWise 7.03 and want to use Reload to back it up. I have installed Reload on my SLES 11 server but can't get the GroupWise agents to load correctly.
Resolution
GroupWise 7.x isn't support on SLES 11. The GroupWise 8.x agents can
be installed on the Reload server, they will work with a GroupWise 7.x
production system. As long as the 8.x dc files are not copied into the
post office directory on the Reload server then the databases will stay
at the original version from the production system. The 7.x GroupWise
client can communicate with the 8.x Agents loaded on the Reload server.
If you would like to use the GroupWise 7.x agents then SLES 10 can be used.
