We are shutting down the email server Retain was originally dredging from. How do our users authenticate once it is down?
If you have migrated to a different email server, you can get a module for that new server and before archiving from it you can set up Mailbox Mapping (see Admin Guide) so that your users can access their old and new mailboxes. It is simply choosing between dropdown menu items.
If, however, you are not archiving from the new email system, you can go into the Retain web console/Management/Users and change the Authentication Method to offline. This will use the credentials already stored in Retain. Users would be able to change their passwords under the Options tab in the Retain mailbox.
