Situation
Is there a queue Retain maintains for forwarded messages that needs to be maintained.
Resolution
No, when Retain forwards a message it just sends it immediately to the SMTP server as specified in Server Configuration/Communications/Notification.
Retain relies entirely on the SMTP server doing the work of message handling. You can check if a forwarded message was sent by Retain under the Welcome link at the top, right of the Web Console.
