Situation


I have purchased, installed, and configured the high performance indexer (HPI), which is new to Retain 4.0 for high availability and performance.  If I need to restart the shard or the index manager, how do I go about doing that?

Resolution


For the shard:  rchcpi-tomcat7 [start/restart/stop]

Example: rchcpi-tomcat7 restart

For the index manager:  rcretainindexmanager [start/restart/stop]
