Indexer Thread Alive = False

Administrator receives a Retain indexer warning via an email message reading, "Indexer thread alive = false" and "Should be true".  This occurred after rebooting the Retain server.

The indexer can be enabled by logging into the Retain server web interface:

1.  Click on the About menu.

2.  Scroll down to the bottom of the screen.

3.  Click on "Indexer Status".

4.  Click on "Try turning indexer on"
