Situation

Text for password rule not shown

Password rule defined in SSPR Configuration Manager ⇨ Policies ⇨ Password Policies ⇨ default ⇨ “Password Rule Text” does not appear as expected on the password change page. 

Resolution

Set "Password Policy Source" to "merge" or "local"  in SSPR Configuration Manager  under Settings ⇨ Password Settings 

Cause

"Password Policy Source" was set to "LDAP only."
