GroupWise volume disk space is filling up related to the DVA

Situation

Disk space on the GroupWise volume if filing up.

Resolution

Update to GroupWise 2014 R2 SP2 . This was a known issue that has been fixed in at least build 125915 or newer. Shipping GW2014 SP2 is build 126868, it contains the fix. Make sure that you have enough free disk space before applying GroupWise 2014 SP2, and then clean up files in the /Post Office/oftemp/gwdca/out/ directory.

Cause

Defect in DVA code. The large files, some as large as 1 gig in size would pile up in the /Post Office/oftemp/gwdca/out/ directory. But code be in the /problem/ directory also.
