Client for Open Enterprise Server 2 SP4 (IR5)


When attempting to login after a reboot, the following message appears:

Login Failed.
Error Code: 0x800789FC

Repeated login attempts continue to fail.


Reboot the workstation, or login "Computer Only" and disable the network connection, then enable the network connection. (Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings > right-click on the connection and choose "Disable". Then, right-click again and choose "Enable".


There was a problem with Windows starting the network connection. If no active network connection is available, the Micro Focus Client cannot successfully perform an eDirectory login.
