Environment

Micro Focus Client for Open Enterprise Server 2 SP4 (IR5)
Watchguard Firebox SSL VPN client

Situation

With two remote locations in the same eDirectory tree, when logging in over VPN to a server in one location, the drives at that location map successfully, but, although the Client successfully authenticates to the servers at the second location, the drives mapped to the second location fail with errors such as:

LOGIN-LGNWNT32-430: The following drive mapping operation could not be completed.
The error code was c00000bb.
LOGIN-LGNWNT32-430: The following drive mapping operation could not be completed.
The error code was c00000be.
LOGIN-LGNWNT32-430: The following drive mapping operation could not be completed.
The error code was 8884.

Resolution

Set the log level in the Watchguard VPN configuration to "High".

Cause

Unknown, but possibly, changing the logging configuration changes the VPN timing such that it has time to successfully connect to multiple locations, enabling the Micro Focus Client to successfully execute the drive mapping statements in the login script.
