NetIQ PlateSpin Migrate 11.x, 12.x
Situation
A blue screen of death appears on the target machine during a migration to a physical machine. The blue screen of death, 0x7B, occurs during the migration stage "Configure Operating System" and happens at the second reboot of the target.
Resolution
1. Remove the drivers that were uploaded for the target hardware.
2. Create an empty text file named platespin.addtopnpsearchpath and place it in the same folder as the drivers for the target.
3. Open the platespin.addtopnpsearchpath file, type in "1" without the quotes, save the file, and close it.
4. Upload the drivers using PlateSpin Driver Manager.
5. Retry the migration.
