Applying an invalid Filr license may revoke user access to synchronized folders

When updating the Filr license file, if the administrator uploads an invalid or corrupt Filr license file the system may fallback into developer mode which in turn revokes user access to his/her My Files or Home folder area. To undo the access, each user's Home folder has to be modified manually after correcting the license file.

A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 3.1 Update. With the fix in place, checks are performed on the Filr license before it gets applied to the Filr server.
